All 6–8th grade students take the following courses: English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and PE/Health. Students’ elective choices are Music, Art, Photography, Computer Literacy, and Spanish. All 8th grade students take one semester of career learning.

Live Instruction

Middle school students are placed into classes with teachers and their classmates. The teachers of each course will offer live class, live small groups, live help sessions, and live social events thorughout each week. Classes and other live occurences are provided throughout a school week.

Supplies

K12 will supply students with necessary supplies at the beginning of the school year or when a student enrolls. Laptops are sent to eligible families. If there is a need for a laptop and the family was denied during the enrollment process the family can reach out to the school administrators to make an additional request.

Social Events

MODA Middle offers a wide range of social gatherings both virtually and in-person. These are not required, but encouraged so students can spend time with their friends from class. Middle school also offers clubs, including Student Council.
