Online Tests & Assessment FAQs
What tests will my child be required to take?
All Missouri Digital Academy (MODA) students are required to take the following tests:
- Course lesson assessments
- Course unit assessments
- Semester assessments
- Diagnostic and formative assessments measuring mastery of grade-level standards
Will my child have to participate in state testing?
Yes. MODA students must comply with all district-and-state mandated testing requirements. MODA will schedule and administer all assessments. This is a mandatory requirement.
Can my child take their state tests virtually?
Yes. Students will now complete all their required tests virtually.
How does virtual state testing work?
Virtual state testing is administered online under supervised conditions to ensure test integrity. We provide guidance and support throughout the process, including scheduling and technical requirements.
What if my child prefers to test in person?
MAP testing for grades 3–8 and high school EOCs must now be taken online.
